Thanks, Karen! If you look closely, you may notice a light-colored spot in the middle of her muzzle. She scraped it the other night while trying to get into the laundry room to get to the cats’ food bowl–ouch. She has since been more careful about attempting that maneuver!
Hi Jil,
Thanks for posting the pictures of Isa. She is BEAUTIFUL! There is a definite family resemblence with her, Ilea and Ivan. I see she loves her pool too!

@Al & Karen I’m gathering my courage for her first fluff trim. Jaime has inspired me, and has been so generous with her fluff-trimming knowledge. Do you guys trim Sabree?
no just the bottom of her feet, I have on occasion had the groomer trim her ears, but I don’t usually bother with it. As for me I will do the bottom of the feet, but just call me chicken little when it comes to the ears.

@Lynda Hi, Lynda, and thank you! Yes–I agree with you about the resemblance. Every time I look at Ilea’s and Ivan’s pictures, I think that same thing.

Awwwww she’s soo pretty!!! She looks like such a sweetheart. Love the picture with the cuz; I think all Alta-Tollhaus dogs love them!
Thank you for the pictures Jil! She is a beauty and barely seems like a long-coat. I bet she has some people guessing.

@Becky Perry Thank you, Becky. 🙂 You’re right–she is indeed very sweet. And . . . can’t go wrong with a Cuz!!

@Julie
Thanks, Julie–I know what you mean about not looking that much like a long-coat. People normally think that “he” is a “Shepherd Mix,” so it’s fun to be able to have the chance to educate them on coated GSDs. People seem interested to learn. She doesn’t look particularly . . . elegant when soaked and swimming–at that point, some people just stare!
Shes so pretty Jil, thanks for posting the pics.

yep, I see it now that you mention it. School of hard knocks, at least she learned her lesson for that one. Do you trim her hair?
