Carole, the pups look like they are growing up so fast. Enjoy them while you can. Are you keeping one or do you have your hands full with young Garbo???
Lynda, I have a commitment to Garbo. Or maybe it’s Garbo should have me committed?! Either way, one youngster is enough for me right now. Garbo still doesn’t understand why that Kayla girl is back in town. I don’t think she’d be very thrilled with a puppy demanding my attention.
Thank you, Julie. They are full of themselves—make me laugh quite often!
While I am cleaning their room, the pups have free roam of most of the house. They play in the front room or kitchen area, then take a nap on top of the a/c vents. While they are napping, I’ll come in here and work. I know when nap time is over because the pups will start to come in to use their papers. It doesn’t happen 100% of the time, but at this age, any percentage is unbelievable. It is a long walk to go from the play area back to their room to potty.
When GSD pups’ ears are starting to go up, the ears start to lift at the base. Always reminds me of Shelties. They have at least a couple more days before most of the ear is up except for the tip.
I guess i am the sheltie person. 🙂 I’m just surprised you call them Sheltie ears instead of Collie ears. Shelties are usually second fiddle next to the Collie (in my experience).
When I was in my teens (just a few years ago), I lived with three Shelties. They were not neurotic then. If I couldn’t have a GSD, I would have a Sheltie.

Beautiful puppies Carole! They look like they are full of themselves!

If I had my choice between a Sheltie and a Collie, I would choose a Sheltie. Although, I really do like the smooth-coated Collies.
WOW!!! I have never heard that before!!!!! Usually people say shelties are too neurotic.

They are good dogs with the right owner. 🙂
