Kayla/X-Box L Litter, 3 wks, 2 days old:
I gave the pups some toys today. Much to my amazement, Larisa picked up the toy with interest and brought it to me! Louie did the same thing! Puppies at this age do not normally fetch.
This is Lenora with her new toy:
It will be very easy to have all of these pups fetching. Ron, you’d better get a mini-sleeve made. By the time these guys are 5 weeks old, they will be ready!
Under much protest everyone was returned to the whelping box. Leonora waited at least two minutes before returning to her spot on the floor. She walked over and took a long drink from Kayla’s water bowl! Lille was watching Leonora from the box. Lille climbed out and was headed to the water bowl when she noticed that Kayla still had kibble in her food bowl. Yep—Lille was eating Kayla’s kibble! Why am I making mush if these guys are going to eat kibble? These puppies just amaze me.
SHUT UP!!!! Are you serious they are retrieving items to you???? Man you have a gem if they do it at 7 weeks! Ron, I think Carole is right get that micro sleeve ready. I think they are on the fast-track just like their momma, only faster.
Julie, I couldn’t believe it when Larisa brought the toy. Then Louie did the same thing! Have the micro-sleeve ready. Since they can scale the puppy wall, they shouldn’t have much trouble with the A-frame.
This morning the K pups and I were training for the AD. I would run to one direction let them catch me, and then run in a different direction, let them catch, me lots of praise and pets.
