Flawless, outstanding, hard-working—the type of dog that all dogs should be. Kira was one of the first adult dogs that I met of Julie’s. She is very friendly—loves children. She has a great sense of humor. Yet, when necessary, Kira is all business. Kira is the type of dog that would protect you with her life. Kira is one of the main reasons that I own Kayla. Kayla is my mini-Kira in looks & temperament. From what I’ve seen, Kira has passed her great temperament and sense of humor on to her children.
If Julie decided tomorrow that she needed to find a home for Kira, there would be many of us on this blog fighting over who would have the privilege of taking Kira home.

For whatever reason most of the dogs I fall for are males, I’ve just come to like males more, but when it comes to Kira there’s no question regardless of her gender, I would take her in a heartbeat. Carole is right. I’d fight her bare-handed to win Kira!! I’m sure most people on this blog who know me would agree that describing myself as picky is a gross understatement. I’m really not a “dog” person despite my life revolving around dogs. So when I say I love Kira it’s because I really think she is a fantastic dog, based on watching her train and work and countless interactions.
I have a Kira son and he is fabulous if I may say so.
Kira is a well rounded dog no matter what the situation, she has the temperament to handle it.
I would say she likes to please, but can give you a run for your money when it’s needed. Awesome dog!
I don’t have a Kira pup but I have been around her countless times and seen her work and interact with other people and dogs.

Roman is a Kira son and he’s the best! He would protect me with his life, has an amazing temperament and is a total clown. He also inherited Kira’s great looks!
Thank you very much for speaking up about Kira, I read them to her and she is glad her peeps are there for her!
What I would like to say about Kira is, she is a “strong” dog as you can see in the pictures. What you can not see is her mushy-love-bug, social side. Oh, she knows much more about schutzhund then I know, and she lets me know.

Yes she “strong” not only on the field but sound in the head. She knows what is a threat and what is not. She is very social with people, not suspicious. One time I was at Julie’s sleeping over and Kira gave birth that night. She never once was even grouchy to me. Also you can handle and visit the puppies even when they are just a week old. She knows Julie is her “person” but is not overly aloof.
The last photo is one of my favorites.
i agree Carole, cool picture.
The photos of Kira are wonderful. I was wondering if someone could describe her temperament. Thanks
