Brody is now 17 months old and is doing so good with the baby. He thinks he is her guardian and he checks up on her all the time. It is amazing how gentle he is with her. He gives her gentle kisses, not big sloppy ones like he gives everyone else.
Alyssa is now 5 months and is full of life!
Beautiful baby and Brody. They will have a very close bond, that no one can break. Does he come and let you know when she wakes up or fusses. If it is anything like Sabree with our little guy, he can’t get out of her sight, she has a fit. I Like it like that.

Thanks guys, Yes when she wakes up in her crib he goes into her room to investigate then comes and stares at me, waiting for me to go get her out. Also everytime he comes inside from playing he has to check on her and lick her head. I have to tell him good boy and 2 seconds later tell him thats enough. He is probably confused.
Nick, both are gorgeous!! Alyssa will be one of those lucky individuals who will have fantastic stories about her very first GSD when she was a little girl.

Alyssa is such a cutie, and such a happy baby! I think Alyssa looks like her Daddy.
I know that stare, it means you need to take care of business, I think they are doing their best to communicate telepathically and the stare is part of that effort.
GSD are very nurturing, males just as much as females. If anyone messes with Alyssa, they are going to have to get past Brody and his 42 teeth.
