Last weekend, we took Isa out in our fishing boat–she likes her neoprene life vest.
And this was her first ride in Sean’s kayak. Interestingly, this was taken about 5 minutes before she bailed in a swampy area, apparently because she lost sight of our boat. (Fortunately, we still had a lead attached to her!) It was one of those situations where there was chaos for a minute or so, but in a funny kind of way.
Here’s Garth. He really does love to fish. At this point in the day, we were convinced that the fish were indeed biting. Each other.
An ever-watchful German Shepherd Dog.
Jil, you are killing me with these pictures!!! I want to be out on that lake! Gorgeous! Isa looks like she is loving life on the water. Congratulations on figuring out how to post pictures. Keep it up!
Isa’s eyes on the first shot are just gorgeous; she looks so gentle. I really like the last shot – she’s not going to miss a thing!
Jil, great pictures of Isa. What a pretty girl. Ivan says “Hi” and wishes he was out on the lake too! The first time we took Dylan (at 4 months old) out in our canoe he jumped into the water and we had to pull him out…luckily he was much smaller than the “I” pups!
What a doll Jil. Andrea you are so right,,,she’s not going to miss a thing. Reminds me of when Sabree was little. keep the pictures coming.
A question for Jil and Michele G…are all men from Traverse City named Garth handsome?
@Julie That is quite possible! Perhaps it’s something in the water. 🙂
Julie, we must take a trip to Traverse City!
Jil, would you please send the second and last photo to me full size, high resolution?
