The Ricco – Allie pups. The male cozies up to his sister and snuggles in for a nap. I gave the puppies their first taste of solid food tonight, they all agreed that they would like more of this new non-milk product. I need to name these pups, as “the boy” is not working for me.

‘Not working for you’ — gee, Julie, didn’t they just open their eyes a couple days ago??? I guess that ‘no free lunch’ training starts earlier than I thought! No wonder you produce such incredible puppies!
The puppies are resting so peacefully. It’s like I can reach out and touch one of their little paws. I agree with Carole, you win the best puppy shots. Julie H 🙂
The puppies are really getting active. Walking all over the place and started on solid foods. They had their first worming medicine and I took away their whelping pen…the human equivalent of removing the crib. I am calling the boy Ivan, the normal coated girl ivy, and the long-coated girl Ida. I figure out fo the three the puppy that the new owners will most likely change the name on will be the long coated girl, so I picked a name that wouldn’t bother me if they changed it.
