Hello Everyone! On Friday we stopped by "For Footed Friends" to pick up some of Rudi and Hilda's favorite all natural treats. I asked if they had any fun dog events coming up soon and low and behold Saturday was wash your dog day!!! This is the same local business that has painting day, picture day, etc., let us know about the Easter Bunny Day! Anyway, we didn't need to take our own shampoo and when we got there THEY actually washed Rudi. I figured we'd wash and try out their all natural shampoo, yada, yada, yada...what a deal!!! The shampoo made Rudi so soft and shinny, it was the "Gorgeous" shampoo. We had a choice of Stinky or Gorgeous and being Rudi wasn't very stinky we went with the gorgeous...he is more gorgeous than ever but still a little stinker. ;) We will buy their Gorgeous Shampoo when we use up the bottle of shampoo we already have. Rudi did pick out a new toy and a new kitty toy for our cats. Sunday was back to work with early morning SAR training. He is still working a scent box (learning to use and keep his nose to the ground-finding treats) and puppy runaways with Brian handling him and me running away...foundation, foundation, foundation. A fun weekend. JH

Happy to report that Roman’s ears went full mast earlier this week. Here he is back in Birmingham one week later.
