Kaline celebrates his big number 3 today. (The other Al Kaline celebrates the big seven-five.) I’m going to try to post a couple pictures.
I tried to take a picture of all three of my dogs at one time, but was not successful. Here is Kaline with big sis, Sophie.
Casey and I need to work on ‘stay’ I’m afraid. She’d rather come sit on top of me. On the bright side, she doesn’t need a leash…. unlike Sophie….

Can anybody suggest a decent point-and-shoot camera? I don’t need anything fancy, but I’d like something I can take a short video with and I’d really like something that doesn’t take minutes to recover between shots. I don’t think I’m asking for a lot — just something easy that takes decent shots. My current camera is Kodak and I do NOT want that again. I think the whole easy-share deal is a pain and really limits options. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would recommend the Nikon D5000. It is more then a point and shoot, but still as simple to use as one with the benefits of a digital SLR camera. It is around $600 but I think you will be very happy with it.

Unfortunately, his photo doesn’t do him justice. I had to ‘brighten’ the picture so you could make out his features at all. His real color is so much richer than my photo shows. And, no, I’m not the least bit biased….. he is very handsome — again, thank you, Julie!
