I tried to enter text but I lost it in cyber space…Carole, I need lessons! Hope this comes through.
Anyway, Rudi and I attended SAR training this morning after more than a month hiatus. Rudi worked 3 short tracks with a scent article presented at the beginning and the 3rd track with a turn. These are short tracks but he has no idea where his victim is as of today. I was thrilled…thank you Julie for our wonderful GSD’s and best friends. Also, he only recieved his favorite treat, liver…YUCK!!!when he found his victim. No treats were placed in the track, only the victims scent.
I had to shot Tracker, a veteran of the team, as I just love his coloring and his reward after finding his victim.
Becky, I wasn’t “trying” to get profile shots. Rudi will turn his head as soon as I hit the button and he hears the sound my camera makes.

Yay, go Rudi! He looks so good. I think it’s cute that Schumi and Rudi both have little dark pigments on their tongues.

Julie, it is good that you are feeling better! I’m sure that Rudi is happy to be out in the field again.
