This morning I tried to take photos of something else besides my dogs; this is not my usual cup of tea. I think I’d like a macro lens, I’ve been waiting for a 35mm. Maybe I just need new subject matter; still, all my stuff looks the same. I’m not getting exciting photos like Carole.
Hal, the only difference is that your flowers are not in a FL swamp with a gator lurking nearby! I like your bug and the yellow roses with the water droplets. Instead of shooting from above, try getting down, level with your flowers—it just puts things into a different perspective. Your photos are good and sharp!
PS – I almost always shoot with a telephoto lens!
@Carole, Carole thank you for responding! A FLA swamp would certainly add that danger, we have “Hangging about in Detroit”. I just feel stagnant & will certainly try suggestions. It just needs something & knowing that equipment is not the answer, a new perspective & a new eye for things is. Shooting something else!
