Myself and a friend will be attending the Bundesleistungshüten (BLH) September 25-27, 2009, in Stettbach Germany. My friend will actually be testing one of her dogs in an HGH test following the BLH. She has been training hard but she has been concerned that herding with 10 sheep is not the same as herding 300, 500, or even 700 sheep as could be the case when her dog tests for the HGH in Germany. To calm her fears she has found a herd of 400 in New York state and was given permission to work their sheep. They also herd their sheep with GSD. Her dog went right to work with Sherry’s help. So 10 or 400 sheep, her dog did great, no worries…Germany here she comes! The following are photos from the day:

Oh how I wish I were going with you! Karen & Bunny will do great. Beautiful photos. I expect you to come home from this event with plenty of herding shots for ME. If not, you are fired! (again)
