My cousin Michelle felt the need to prove she was indeed capable of taking a decent photo.
“Here Skyler and Czar had just finished a big jumping lesson and they were both tired. Skyler was telling Czar what a fine old man he was, and how he was such a good guy to ride. Neither of them knew I was around.”
“This one is posed.”
“This is our “other” dog Trooper – I think she looks really good for a lab!”
Michelle, I will go on record as saying that the Photog Gene as not passed you by—you just don’t exercise it often enough! Every time I see the first photo, it brings tears to my eyes. It will be one of my most favorite photos—always.
Your mission next winter will be to have that pointy-eared pup exchange places in the snow with that yellow thing. My brother has those yellow things—blech! 🙂
By the way, I’d like to put in an order for a Skylar. Do you have a spare? No? Then just send me the original! He is such a cutie!
Julie, thank you for sharing these photos!
Carole you are very kind.
I’ll take your order but there’s only one Skyler!!
Big ears in the snow you betcha!! I bemoaned my lab fate ti Julie for a while, until she tool pity on me and let me back in the familiy!!!! Actually Trooper the lab did a great job preparing Skyler to be a good GSD owner, and now he’s the boy of a proud GSD!
Only one Skyler? We could do a trade for awhile—you could send Skyler for a visit. In exchange, I’ll send you a raccoon! If Skyler connects with Shocker the way he connected with Czar, she will be one very happy GSD. Actually, I’ve already seen that connection in the photo in the magazine!
When I look at Skyler I see his Mom and the Skomars men. In our family the men are tall and handsome, the women, well….we are good at producing good looking men.
This might get me into trouble—sound like good brood bitches to me! 🙂
Oh , you hit that one on the mark. Touche, my dear cousin – you are too funny.
