I’m not usually a big fan of black & white photos. Once I’ve seen the photo in color, it loses something being converted to black & white. I’m preparing photos for the magazine. This one caught my eye, so I thought I’d share it with you.
Bill Pivirotto & DJ vom Zieringer-Land (6th place – very nice working dog)
Julie, remember that photo of Lex in a full-out run with the honor dog in the background? Wait until you see it in b/w! You’ll love it!
Very nice! Great composition, I haven’t shot b/w film in ages. Did you know all digital sensors measure light intensity and the color is calculated on. Some photographers purport to be able to identify the camera manufacturer like Nikon, Canon, etc, just by the way they process the color calculations? Please show us more …
I could probably guess what kind of computer monitor you are using based on your description of a photo’s colors and saturation, hehe.
Carole, this photo is elegant in it’s composition and stunning in it’s intensity. Great work!
Fantastic photo!!!!
Love this photo…also black GSD. Can’t wait for the magazine!
Thank you for the great compliments. I hope the owners are just as happy!
I have watched Bill and DJ work. Impressive!
