Happy Birthday Schumi, Rudi, and Annie! Schumi went on a walk in the woods today with me while Joe worked on his present, and then we took him out for ice cream!
He had his own small bowl and then a few licks of mine because he’s so cute! 🙂 Actually in the picture below he grabbed the whole hunk of my ice cream and I had to snatch it back!
Here’s his present – a kennel! Now he can stay outside all he wants, and we don’t have to worry about him digging up the yard! It’s not complete yet, Joe needs to level it out a bit more and put rocks inside, but you get the idea!
Looks like Joe is going back to the top of Carole’s list.

Happy Birthday Schumi and Annie too. Schumi you have become so handsome (and not just because you look a lot like someone we know).
Schumi, you got ice cream and fancy new digs… Rudi got pancakes and will be getting a new wading pool. Hopefully, I’ll get a couple of photos posted tomorrow. Peter always makes the dogs pancakes for their birthdays because of a drawing by James Thurber from the book “Thurber’s Dogs”.
Schumi, if you want to visit, Rudi will let you dig in his yard. Our yard is a giant hole and since rainy season seems to have begun we may have a new lake! 😉

I really like the profile looking right … he is a very nice dog, and lucky too those panels make me think of making changes.
I think the brand is “Lucky Dog” or something like that; the only marking is an AKC marking on the gate. I bought them on sale at Menards for $50 a panel and I think the gate was $70.@Julie
