Chief wants to say happy 2nd birthday to all his brothers from the Hoss x Zucca litter!
The second one I think he resembles his brother Ben.
He recently had a big day outside with his Dad playing with his herding ball – we gave it another chance as he loves it so – no broken basement windows this time, but he did get a sore nose so back in the “spookhouse” it went (check out his croup in the action shot – pretty impressive, huh?).
Then trying to convince dad to let him in the spookhouse and helping dad mow the lawn.

Kimberly, that is some ball—I just love the pose in the third photo. In that photo, Chief reminds me a lot of Zucca.

Happy Birthday to our Boys! I love to see pictures of Chief. He looks a lot like Ben (who I personally believe is one of the most handsome dogs in the world 🙂 I need to get some pics of Ben – Julie promised to take some – I just need to get over there so she can…….I would love to get Ben and Chief together sometime………. I still think that we need a Zucca/Hoss puppy reunion.
Ben weighed in at 104 lbs when we went for our heartworm checks. Hopefully that is it! I’m very glad that he is a very sweet boy.
We have started tracking again this past Sunday – and he had such a good time. He definitely has a talent for tracking.

Karen- it is always good to hear from you. I’m glad you like the Chief pics. I cannot believe Ben weighs 104 lbs – he has 20 lbs on Chief! Do you live next door to Garth? He recently posted Kirsch was at 90 lbs. Funny that Chief was the biggest pup, but is turning out to be smaller than them as adults (not that 84 lbs is small)! A reunion would really be fun some day.
We’ll have to get on Julie about that. Do post photos of Ben when you can – we love to see them. take care.
