Just had to share. This is Falkor, one of our Wildhaven puppies from our 2006 litter (Wildhaven’s Never Ending Story – Cagan x Flame 2006)and his best buddy Preston in KY. Preston was born soon after they got Falkor so they grew up together.

Lovely pictures. A perfect demonstration that Rottweilers aren’t the “baby eaters” the media would like to portray them as.
As Julie knows, I am very fond of Rottweilers.

These photos trouble me and it has nothing to do with the breed either. As someone who is currently presenting talks on bite prevention at local elementary schools, I would say that this is an accident waiting to happen. I don’t care how stable this particular dog is, it is so not a good idea to let this adorable tyke think this is an appropriate way to interact with a dog. 90 per cent of all dog bites to children are from their own family pet or a dog known to them. Dogs are not stuffed animals to climb on , grab onto and hug and children should not be allowed to think they are. I hope I haven’t offended the breeder but I could not in good conscience remain silent on this one.
