Happy Birthday, Kayla! Please remind your mom that it is mandatory to post photos of all special events such as your very important day. I hope you get a bigger pool and lots of tuggies and treats at your birthday party.
Happy Birthday Kayla!!! I am on the road and stopped at a Walmart to buy water for the dogs. While in line I started chatting with the little girl behind me in line. What’s your name? “Kayla” Really? How old are you? “Four” Then Mom joins in, now you are Five, today is your birthday. I am totally aghast that a 4 now 5 year old could forget their birthday and that they are now 5 instead of 4!!!! Later I realized the coincidence that her name was Kayla and her birthday is also Feb 19th. Not that bizarre by itself but the fact I would turn and talk to her on Feb 19th and also have a b-day connection to the 18th.
Get that dog a bigger pool, I am thinking an in-ground pool will do, Olympic size not necessary….yet.

Julie that is a great story and a good omen!
Margot, I knew that I would be in trouble not posting any pix of my birthday girl. I did sing Happy Birthday to her though—she just laughed at me like she usually does. (Sometimes I think I’m here for Kayla’s entertainment!)
Thursday was cold, windy and rainy—not the best day for birthday pix. She had her most favorite treat though, an inside shower. As soon as Kayla saw me flip the shower curtain over the rod, she hopped right in. She had such a big smile on her face!
After her shower and blow-dry, Kayla helped me pack for our MS trip. Kayla loves to travel and her ears perked up when I said that she was going to see Julie!
Yes—when the weather warms, I will buy her a bigger pool!
