The weather in scotland this January has been horrid, cold, damp and wet, sadly rubbish for taking fotos. This makes me miserable ,I get bad withdrawals from my camera and this year we have so few breed type champ shows in the UK happening that it’ll be a quite a dry year for taking show snaps….sigh ..I am such an addict of the camera that I miss snapping lol!..
I always take my camera out with me when I walk the dogs and just snap as we call it over here ‘willy nilly’ (means randomly) but when I am keeping on eye on the dogs and who may be approaching with other dogs etc its not always easy.
But earlier this week I took this strange photo of Rebus lol. Look at his spine! Who says modern day shepherds cant move !
These are nothing special just Rebus having fun:)
This my wee girlie Frex, showing how curious she is , looking down a well!
Wee frex is due to go in for her elbow/hip scoring and Dna test , we are doing her through our WUSV afiliated system in the Uk which means we can get her done under the German system without having to go to Germany. I am going with one of my breeder friends to her vets to get it done sometime in the next week or two so fingers crossed for us , I will try to see if I get take a foto of her plates at the time so I can share them with you . I so hope everything is ok with them, not that she will go anywhere if they are not good , first and foremost we love her as a family member ( if a rathernaughty family member!) 🙂
Well not much else to report from damp Scotland, I am still counting the days till the USA Sieger !
lin 🙂
Hello Lin!
Love the shots of flexible Rebus!
We’ll be thinking “great results” for Frex.
I finally managed to get to the post office—the last 3 issues are in the mail!
Rebus must be doing his yoga to have that much flexiblity! We are buried under feet of snow here in Michigan.
The well looks dangerous.
Lin I am seeing advertisements on TV about this being a big year for Scotland. 2009 is the 250th birthday of Robert Burns and all sorts of special events are planned. Can you tell us more about it?
Rebus is just gorgeous…and I wish I was that flexible! 😉
Julie , I will out as much as I can for you all and post for you. But definitely a big year for scots to come home so to speak to celebrate.
