l I love reading about of your dogs Julie and all of your friends dogs and thought it about time I let you see mine:)
I have 3 wonderful dogs here at home. 3 GSDs
We did have 4 but I lost my old 11 year old boy Roan about a month ago now and thats very hard we miss him very much . He developed a lump on his pastern joint which was diagnosed as arthritis , sadly though it turned out to be bone cancer. He is at peace now but I miss my best friend. He was an old lurcher mix we adopted as a puppy from the local animal shelter.
Roan
My 3GSDs are all very different , I have a little rescue bicolour called Anna , we adopted her as a puppy from a GSD Rescue here in the UK, she is almost 8 now. She has HD and spondylosis but she is so headstrong and spirited it doesn’t stop her enjoying life!
Wee Anna
We also have a big black fuzz bum Rebus , an all black long coat . He is a funny boy who makes me laugh every day!
He is as loyal as they come and has such a beautiful temperament.

Last but not least is my first show girl . Her name is Frex she is a mix of 3/4 continental show lines and 1/4 tiekerhook working lines.
She is a Yasko Farbenspiel, Quando Sofienwald great granddaughter . We have shown her 4 times so far , she has a VP grading and 2 first places and a 2nd place:) She is a beautiful little female with attitude, I sometimes think I do her a disservice as I am sure she would prefer to work all day.
One thing.. If only she had a better forehand lol. If in the future we decide to breed to carry on our line we will probably use a male out of Nando Gollerweiher for his forehand properties . But a nando son with a good line of forehands on his mothers side though too to try and maximize the chance of correcting the forehand in our girls pups. I also like the length of loin Nando ‘s line would potentially add , Ha ha julie , I could chat on and all with you all about GSDs
Anyway this is my girl aged 14 1/2 months.
Frex looking pretty!

View along our beach
take care , I hope you like all my dogs:) I am off to catch up on everyones news in this wonderful blog 🙂

Gorgeous dogs!
Gorgeous scenery!
Gorgeous photographs!
The rocks remind me of the North shore of Lake Superior, which is rugged and beautiful. I am starting to feel the need to visit Scotland! I would of course want to go to some dog shows while I am there. do you have many speciality shows (GSD only shows)?
Oh you want to breed to a Nando son? what a surprise, that is all I heard your talk about, Nando, Nando, Nando! When you weren’t talking about Nando you were making me look at him, “look at the front reach….look at that strong sweeping rear drive…” What I loved most about Nando was his big handsome head with those intelligent-soulful eyes.
I am sorry to read of your loss of Roan.
Thank you for sharing your family with us Lynn.
Merry Christmas!
Julie
aww Nando , yes I guess I am a tiny little bit of a fan lol, I love so many different dogs, but his place in the VAs’ is so important to me.. he has so much to offer lines which are short coupled and over angulated . An important dog to slot into breeding lines.
Now talking of Nando:)just for me , I mean you here a photo lol!!!

His brother resides at the same kennels has a good front ,better pigment and a little extra wither height but my girl needs forehand forehand forehand!! and she has plenty of wither already. I am thinking of this fella because his front is so good and look at his stride . He is a little stretched but my girl needs extra length so I am happy!! I am prepared to lose colour if that happens as he is a a paler male but in saying that he has never thrown pale pups himself, he was one of a litter of 12 and all other are nando’s red colour.
ah gsds!!
Its weird now I love Nando ( as you know 😉 ) but I love very different dogs, Vegas was a male I wasn’t keen on before I saw him in the flesh but in reality wow! he knocked my socks off, not as extreme as I had thought at all! A beautiful shapely male and a much better mover than I expected! and a nice size too ,correct . But Quenn what a privilege for me to see this male, my favourite for many years, every bit as stunning as I thought he would be , despite being an older boy now. if ever a male had deserved to be VA1 surely Quenn did , I feel he should have been VA1 in 2007, I think he will be one remeberd for years and years to come for his producing qualities. what a dog ..Geesh Julie , you have got be chatting on and on and on about dogs again!!!! its surprising you got any photos taken at the BSZS with me chittering in your ear!!!
I must say I think your girl Kirchental female is beautiful , a Quenn daughter too..swoon xx
I better stop typing for now or I will use up everybodies web space!
I am off to google Lake Superior to view the scenery x we have a few shows in scotland , breed shows but not too many most are in England Julie, we have a few fantastic shows every year that are really worth seeing (and photographing), The British Sieger and the Two Day National , we also have The GSD League champ show which is always a great show.. xx
aww I cant wait for april!
Hello Lynn,
What beautiful photos! You must know a great photographer! 🙂 HA—just kidding!
I am sorry to hear of your loss of Roan. Anna & Rebus are gorgeous girls and Frex is a knockout. She sort of reminds me of Julie’s girls.
Thank you for sharing your photos. Welcome to the family!
