I still haven’t finished putting up pictures from Kira’s trip to visit Markus. Here are a few from the BSZS. This is the new Seiger, Vegas. A beautiful dog, perfect condition, shown perfectly, stellar temperament and nerves, clean outlines, simply perfect:
The podium with 8 of the VA dogs:
Panjo vom Kirschental, V4; look mom no feet:
Vegas was flawless in the ring, but this (and one of your other shots of him) is my favorite.
I’ve never been a big fan of “podium” shots, but I love this angle.
Great gaiting shot of Panjo. But come on…now you’re just showing off! 🙂
You are definitely my favorite Photog. Great job Julie!
That’s a perfect shot of Panjo’s gait!
Share as many pics as you like…hint hint.
Beautiful photos, Julie! The colors are fabulous! Judging from the length of tongue hanging from Vegas’s mouth, it looks like he put forth a heroic effort to win top honors. Just curious – Were all the dogs at the show black and red or are there other coat colors, too? Of course, I’m also looking forward to more pix on the blog and also more slideshows on the web site. Oh yeah, more pup pix, too! I hope you are starting to get caught up now.
Thank you, it is truly AWEsome to be at this show; people from EVERYwhere in the world, all of us together because of our love for the GSD.
The colors are almost over-the-top. They are right out of my camera like this I did not alter a thing other then to lower the resolution and the image size. The podium shot I did lighten up so more detail could be seen, the original shot is really cool as it was completely back lit.
99% of the dogs were traditional saddles black/tan – black/red with a handful of sables, blacks, and bi’s
I think the podium picture with (I’m assuming) 8 intact males almost on top of each other, all with relaxed looks on their faces, speaks to their sound temperaments!
Stunning, absolutely stunning – the rich colors, the gorgeous profiles … the movement … WOW!!! More, more, more :~) Thanks, Julie!

You are spot-on, there were 11 intact males on that podium all just within a foot of each other. They are all VERY in-tact males. They can not go VA unless they are proven producers of quality progeny. I have some other pictures of some of these boys right next to each other, totally at ease being next to another male dog—and they are complete strangers to each other.
