Ostara showed in rally in Marshall Saturday and Sunday. This was her first time in advanced. Some parts were very nice, but most of the heeling was sloppy. Nevertheless she qualified both days and earned second place both days. We will try for that third leg sometime this fall but probably won’t go on to excellent, just because the rally entry fees are too darn expensive (not a good value in my humble opinion).
Ostara also ran in Julie’s TTL CPE agility trial a few weeks ago and did well. She earned her two standard legs to finish up her CTL-1 title. Julie showed her on Sunday and qualified in 3 L2 games (her first L2 Q’s!).
Like Kayla, Ostara likes to play in wading pools, but the photographer involved isn’t nearly as quick as Kayla’s photographer, so you will just have to take my word for it! (LOVED those Kayla pool pictures!)
Charlene
Charlene—I had the pure pleasure of meeting O’Stara when I stayed with Julie. Actually, O’Stara was my bed-buddy! (Kayla & Allie slept on the floor beside the bed.) What a great weekend…sleeping with a pack of GSDs!
Had I brought another plant and a couple extra vases along, not only would I have stolen Kayla, but O’Stara too! She is truly a very sweet girl.
Let me know if you & she are ever headed down to Florida. You’re always welcome here.
Way to go Charlene and O’Stara! I am so proud of you both!
