Pictures from yesterday taken when the pups were only hours old. These pups were very active before they were born and they continue to be so. Other then Funny, there was very little sleeping going on in that whelping box. The pups were busy traveling around, eating, talking about their big adventure, and eating. The pups came out of their sacks and were up on their rear legs, not quite 24 hours later they were pulling themselves up on their front legs. I already feel sorry for the people getting these pups! They are going to be handfuls!!! The little piggies weighed at birth 18 oz, 18 oz, 24 oz, and 24 oz. Three boys and one girl. Funny is doing great and she looks marvelous. As always, she is very devoted mother.
Julie—your ham hocks, whoops, puppies look terrific! My only complaint is that Funny should have had more girls! So since they came out walking and talking, are they already ring-trained too?
The photo of Ms. Fanny with one eye open craks me up!
