How fun! A picture’s worth a thousand words, so…..
Silly goof won’t hold still
New rolled leather collar (we’re going for the “barely there” effect)
Just had a bath (I found ONE flea on the dog and flipped out) and a long walk to dry off
“And mom swore ‘no dogs on the furniture” “
“I wanted some snacks so I munched leaves and grass before mom could stop me and now I need to barf.”
I LOVE THIS DOG!!!
Everyone in our training classes (formerly agility, currently CGC and rally, soon to be pet therapy) is soooo jealous of her, haha! She’s so smart! All the other dogs are barking and jumping all over trying to get around to everyone and ChopChop is lying on her side, sleeping. Cheeky dog, sleeping during class!! Sometimes she’s even so bold as so let out a big sigh and a moan.
Two weeks ago, the homework for our CGC class was to take home a wooden box (provided by the instructor) and “shape” the dog to do a new trick with this totally new object. I taught Chopper to tap the box with her paw, then I taught her to tap one of those Easy Buttons from Staples, and then I taught her to sit and then go tap whichever one I said to tap. So in class we have to show off our new trick and the other dogs are either ignoring their boxes or trying to swipe someone else’s box while Chopper is the only dog actually doing a trick of any kind.
Soon I am going to check out the local SchH club with another GSD person I met (I first met her online and then she convinced me to join the rally class). She wants her dog to try it and I want to just go watch (Chopper doing SchH?…..NOT happening! Big men with bite suits and sticks…omg what a NIGHTMARE that would be!! We’ll stick with rally and agility for her.).
