My other half, Greg owns an Anytime Fitness franchise in Washington. This weekend was the Spokane Health and Fitness expo. We of course got special permission to bring Steve as the mascot. Steve as expected, did remarkably well. He doesn’t have the opportunity to be around many kids so it’s really fun to see how well he interacts with them. It’s almost like he knows to be extra gentle when kids come over to say hi. I can’t say he did too well actually peddling memberships but he sure did get a lot of attention!! It’s wonderful having a dog that I can bring anywhere with me. The only time there was a bit of an issue is when this lady walked by with her service shih tzu. It growled and barked at Steve. I calmly grabbed Steve and walked him out of the room to avoid further issue! Here are some pictures from the event!

Maybe you should have had him holding a dumbbell looking buff-LOL. I’m surprised you did not get a few cuteness memberships.

Didn’t know if you knew about selecting his parents when you post. All posts default to Canis Woofus Family (see Posted in line above). You can uncheck that and then select Hunter and Juno and it will show up as the Posted in field which makes it easy to search later on.

Smart decision to move him away from the other dog. No matter what happens, it is always the GSD fault and generally they are the ones sitting there minding their own business.

You know, we had contemplated bringing the treadmill, but with all the people figured it might be best just to go with the placebed!
And I usually tag Hunter and Juno , I was just worried about bogging it down… I don’t even know how long it would take to find the actual Hunter with all my posts on Steve, but maybe that’s okay 🙂 anyway for some reason, this time I didn’t but if you click on the hunter tag you will see lots of Steve 🙂 I can go back and fix it.

No worries about bogging down a parent’s name with their progeny! That is predominantly what the tag is used for. If I’d like to see what Hunter produces and I search his name, all of his wonderful kids will be right there for me to see.

Keep posting – we love it!

Steve is a great ambassador for our breed. What’s wrong with those people? A body like that should have sold a ton of memberships!

Great job, Julie!

Thanks! That place bed is so nice to have. He really does just chill out on it while the world goes on around him!
