Oh my gosh. I can’t even handle it with the two I have lol. I have another 4 year old shepherd. Steve is such a jerk to her and she just lets him bite on her. Needless to say they get seperated a lot.
Then I will send you Libby and she will teach Steve how to treat a lady-LOL. You other shepherd can come with me and she and Ziva can run and play out in the fields.

That is so cool! He seems to be quite comfortable on it. We have a treadmill in the Carriage Barn – now I’m tempted to ask Scott to bring it in this winter. We’d all benefit from more exercise when it’s too miserable to venture out there! We have the Universal Tredex Treadmill. It doesn’t have sides – you can google the images, and let me know whether you think it would be safe for Dutch. If not, I’ll just send him to you, and he can take turns on it with Ziva and Libby. Just send me the bill from the Disaster Restoration Service company.
Beverly, the human treadmills aren’t long enough for dogs. I have the same treadmill that Steve is using – the belt is almost 6 feet long. It gives the dog an opportunity to safely “move out” while using it.
You’re right! I just measured the length of the belt, and it’s only 60″. I always thought it was so long, but it’s apparently not long enough for Dutch. We’ll have to get a longer one and run in tandem!
I will send Ziva to you for exercise 🙂 Actually with both of them they would tire each other out, but your house would never be the same 🙂
