Happy Birthday, Julie! There is no way we can top the birthday greetings from Nadine, Tim, and Izzy, but please know that when we snuggle with our D’ Darling’ Dutchie, we think of you with love and gratitude.
Dutch is almost three, and becoming almost human as time passes. No, he is better than many humans I know. With his intelligence, loving devotion, fun-loving playfulness, and endless enthusiasm and energy, even our grandchildren rush past us to greet Dutch first! And, the traitor loves it – he deserts us to sleep in their room at night!
One of the things I love about your Blog, Julie, is the confirmation we feel as we read the entries like this one (thank you, Nadine & Tim) with Finn & Aslan, and, of course, all the amazing accomplishments of our Alta-Tollhaus dogs. I see my Dutch in all of them, and I know that I am not just another “mom” whose kid is God’s gift. All of us, in this beautiful Alta-Tollhaus family, have been blessed. Thank you, Julie.
