We need those “Q” names Inga has eight, yes, 8 babies. Five girls and three boys! Big fat beautiful pups.
Ok here are 4 girls and 1 boy, this is supposed to be it according to the xray taken by the fancy vet clinic:
Now we have 3 boys and 4 girls, if you are curious, Inga is eating tripe and goat’s milk:
Final count 3 boys and 5 girls! Get those Q names ready we need 8 of them! They are gorgeous!!!
Inga (Inga von den Amperauen) was bred to Vegas Feetback by artificial insemination and to Gavin via natural breeding. When we get some collars on the pups I will collect DNA to test to determine the Poppa. Click here to see the AKC rules on dual sired litters.
Now about those xrays, I guess I am perpetually optimistic that one day they might actually take a decent radiograph. My regular vet makes no claims to being able to take good radiographs, he has old equipment and a poor set up. This is why I go to the fancy vet clinic with the latest and greatest xray equipment. The vet said 5 puppies, I looked at the xray and said I thought I saw six, the vet tells me “no you are looking at a bowel” I say, “that is odd that it is shaped just like a skull”, the other area of the xray was so poorly exposed anything could have been there. In the mean time Caitlin and I are getting pretty darn good at palpating.
Julie!!! 8 Q’s LOL…….What in the world was this person taking pictures of???????? Lord. Thank God all 8 are here and safe…and Momma Inga is eating gross tripe. Now she will lick the pups and they will smell like TRIPE. eww
I’m still sticking with my Q girl name: Quendi (Wendy). Ofcourse Queen….ahhh ummm
Boys: I always liked Quatro from the *Spitzbubbiezwinger* (sp?) era. Who’s the guy from Jaws, the one with the small boat? Quint?
It’s gonna be fun watchin’ these kids grow…and seeing who the true baby daddy is! LOL
Terri xoxo
They are beautiful! Good job, Inga!
Wow! Inga is GORGEOUS!!!!
I met Inga…and yes…she is gorgeous. Much better looking in person. 🙂 When I first met her…..my immediate thought was “Wow”. 🙂 And both studs are ….well….Studs! 🙂
Terri
Congrats to everyone, those are some precious pups!,,,,, and hey Inga deserves the stinky tripe after all her hard work. I’m putting my two suggestions out there, Quantam and Quipey (doll), one for the guys and one for the girls. Great work Inga, Vegas and Gavin…lol
I know Jody…Inga deserves her tripe….
I like Quipey. Would you pronounce that Q P? I like quip-ee better. Then I was thinking…how ’bout Q T?
(cutey???) Alta-Tollhaus QT YES! I Love it! Named after my Rudi…cutepatootey! 🙂
Three some? Can we incorporate that into names? Not so much… JULIE, next time for your Q litter..please make it a simple 4 foresome. LOL
Beautiful! Congrats Julie! 🙂
Quillan (Kwil lun) “Holly”
Quinlan (Kwin lun) “Beautiful shape”
Quinn (Kwin) “Counsulor”
Quiva (Kee va) “Beautiful”
Quyen (Kway in) “Power”
Quincy
Quest
Quinna
Quilla
Karen,
Great names. I like Quiva, Quyen, and Quinn. Another could be Quai.
I like names that roll off my tongue easily. It helps for training. My suggestion for a Q name was Quendi…for me, I would use Wendi….(Kwendi)…or you could go with Endi….I just like Wendi better. Maybe, the W-litter is more for me? LOL
Quiva (Kee va)= Bea-u-ti-ful…….is my 2nd choice.
Terri
I’m partial to Quiva
🙂
First boy……leading the way………Quaisar???? Or is Quantum better? First one to make the leap into the unknown?? LOL I like it!
Terri
I like them both! 😉
Beautiful!
I like Quinn and Que.
Glad mom and pups are doing well.
Great name suggestions. The ones I was thinking of have already been mentioned.
I know a Quest and a Quinn from a working line Q litter near us.
Where are all of the vets that were trained by Mos? Good grief—you’d be better off with your own equipment and have Tif take the x-rays.
Tripe & Goat’s milk—that’s just what I had for breakfast.
That sounds like a great idea! Julie buys the equipment and I can take the rads and do the ultrasounds for her. 🙂
There is a vet (trained by Mos) in Archbold, Ohio. The vet clinic is called Pondview. The vets’ name is Pat Daughtey.
I’ve never visited the clinic, but Dr. Pat was recommended to me by a friend (used to bred Goldens).
If I decide to do hips/elbows on DuKe, I would take him there.
Terri and DuKe, who will be 2 on Oct. 1st.
