This was the blue collar boy from the J-Litter (Gavin x Judy), call named Dixon. This was the day we brought him home.
A little blurry, but you can see his face changing and I think he can just about pick up radio free Europe on those ears. He is 3 months old today and growing like a weed. Wicked smart and an absolute delight. He’s already learned Here!, Sitz and Platz, and we are now working on Shtay! Of course, in typical puppy fashion, Here! only works outside when he is not chasing a leaf blowing across the yard or when he has his face buried in the snow, hot on the trail of some perceived scent he’s discovered….
We are looking forward to more sessions with Gustavo in the coming months and helping our baby boy be the best GSD he can be.
We are so excited to be a part of the extended A-T family and wish one and all a very prosperous New Year!
Nice to meet you J-Dixon. You will have so much fun at Gustavo’s!
Looking forward to seeing litter mates Dixon (J) and Kane (K) together with Gustavo as they grow.
Nice to meet Dixon. Looking forward to lots of photos from Gustavo’s – hint- hint 🙂
Congratulations on your first blog post!!! Just have to say, not a J-name and you will have all of us taxing our memory trying to remember which litter, but….since he is named after the uber hunky character Daryl Dixon from Walking Dead (Norman Reedus in real life) I can live with it. 🙂
He does have a “J” name to go on his papers when they come in ;o)
Isn’t it so amazing how rapidly their faces change. We must go to Gustavo’s on different days, but hopefully we’ll get together soon.
