Hi Andrea we have been to Kensington just once we never really got a chance to explore it because it was too hot that day. Do you recommend any trails there?
Hi Ed, Mary – you can walk all the way around Kensington on the 8 plus mile paved cycle/walking path, but when we have all three with us, they can go into pack mode and can get a little dog reactive, so we tend to walk on trails through the trees.
You have to keep them on leash but not everyone does, so its a good idea to keep your eyes open for loose dogs. Most people are considerate though and will put their dogs back on leash as soon as they see others coming with their dogs.
We usually let ours run and play a bit to burn off steam (providing nobody else is around) before they are all back on leash for thier walk.
Not sure what the trail is called, but we often go to the second parking lot on the right (if you get off at Exit 151) then walk along the road up to the next turn on your left. Once at the top of that hill there is another parking lot, but not too many people go there and there are trails through the woods you can take without running into too many other people.
Flying — great shot!
What a beautiful day. Aslan is looking as gorgeous as ever! We usually take our three to Kensington Metro Park. Have you ever been there?
