This is Sam. He is the bully of Camp Kayla. He will sometimes beat the crap out of my other cats—except for Nija. She pulls her Ninja moves on him and chases him away. He’s even bitten people—except for me.

Looks innocent enough, doesn’t he?!

My mother has a cat named Polly. She is the bully of the farm. She has “cornered” stray dogs in the barn until my mother rescues them. Whiskey and Louie are terrified of her. Shoot, I am terrified of her!

What a handsome boy. He looks much too sweet to be the monster that you say he is!

A couple years ago he was abandoned by a neighbor that lived about a half mile away. He was just pup, eh youngster at the time. He would show up here and eat breakfast and then leave. I found out from another neighbor who lives over a mile from me that he spends most of the day at her place and she named him Sam. When the time came, my neighbor decided to “do the right thing” and have him neutered. He has NEVER been back to her place again. Oh, he still travels, but that is not on his list of hot destinations. Jerk. Had I known that I would have gladly taken him to the vet!

Are you saying the neighbor herself neutered him and did not take him to the vet???

LOL—well that would certainly be a reason not to return. No, she took him to her vet.

I was going to say what a pretty cat and he probably is, but it’s probably more accurate to say, You really know how to take a picture, Carole.
