I did something different with the F-litter I ran DNA tests on all the pups to test for degenerative myelopathy (DM). Some litters it is not necessary to do the testing, for example, the Gavin x Bailey breeding. Both Gavin and Bailey carry two normal (clear) copies of the gene so all the pups will also have two normal copies. With the F-litter I am happy to report that all five puppies are CLEAR!
Temperament testing is done. All pups are social and outgoing, no sensitivity to sudden loud noises , average pain tolerance – all react appropriately. Four of the pups tested with good drives and show much promise for work. One pup showed good promise as a companion, therapy, service dog.
No motion sickness with two long car rides under their belts. Well-puppy vet exam went well, some umbilical hernias and one un-descended testicle at 7.5 weeks.
Now for your help. We need F-name suggestions!

Excellent news on the DNA DM results.
Oh, Farrah would be great for a long-coated female!
When you say one shows promise as a companion, therapy, or service dog — what does that mean? Does it mean they have less drive than the others? And, by less drive, does that mean they are less likely to go nuts for that ball on a rope toy? Just curious.
Congrats again on all the test results. That is really amazing.
