Before you begin saying that I’ve fallen down on the job, there is no O-Town update this week. The trainers were too tired after their big weekend so class was cancelled. O-Town update will have to wait until next week. Instead, you get a view of Camp Kayla when it is too hot for the deer.
The pix were shot at a length that required shooting from cover to bright light to shade—something my lens does not like doing so pix are grainy.
The gal who is resting looks like she is due to have her fawn soon.
This little one has become bored with waiting for everyone to rest in the shade…
These four have been sticking close to the house for the past week or so. This morning it was just Mom with the twins, so I wonder if the other doe has recently given birth.
Send some to TX, our supplier has been out of venison for a while. Poor Koda.
Beautiful pics Carole!
Around Calhoun county here in Michigan Deer are dying from Blue Tongue disease which is passed on by insects. It is so prevalent this year because of the hot-dry weather conditions we have had this summer.
They are beautiful Carole.
…don’t send them to TX – Koda will survive without them!!
I am laughing so hard right now. Lol!!
oh wow, beautiful pictures!
