Who knew in 9 short months, Koda will heal so many hearts in our family?
Koda is a joy to be around. He makes us very happy, even the cat (although Rascal won’t admit it).
Their very first photo together
He was waiting for his little boy
Always smiling and happy!
Always the goof!
I look forward to both boys growing up together, to many many happy years.
“A house is not a home without a German Shepherd” – So true! When Zeus died, I swore up and down never again I will have a GSD, it hurts too much when we lose them, and here we are.
Once you’ve had a GSD, you can’t be without one. Life just isn’t the same. Thank you for sharing these great pix!
I understand how you feel, but you didn’t get a GSD you got a red moose!
This post brings a big grin as well as a few tears. I think this litter had big shoes to fill and they have done an awesome job. I had to drop something off at Tim’s yesterday and got a very energetic welcome from Sammy. Ruffie was the dog Tim grew up with and even though Tim had moved out before Ruffie died, his passing left as big a hole in Tim’s heart as it did in mine. To see Sammy and Tim together is heartwarming. The two are a match made in heaven and I’d like to think Ruffie is looking on very happy that his boy has a new soulmate.
I love this big goof! The schoolbus picture is the sweetest.
Thanks for sharing all these pictures and story. Koda is a big handsome guy. I love the picture of him waiting for Andrew to get home.
OK, I am a fan here in Texas and I always enjoy the photos of Koda and your family.
