A-litter Ypsilon x Maika taken earlier in the day when there was daylight hours. Washer and or dryer are also going, they have been use non-stop today.
It is amazing how vocal these little guys are. It is now 6 am and 6 hours since the last pup was born and they are all very quiet, some are still eating and others are sleeping. They have gotten fatter and bigger already in those few hours. The one thing that has not changed, there has been no break for the washer and dryer they are still rattling away.
Aww! Look at these squirmy worms!
Maika reminds me so much of Funny. She is a magnificent momma.
YOU DID IT, JULIE!!! (I am shouting in case you’re falling asleep right now)
Thanks for shouting JK that did help keep me awake!
That is remarkable! Great job Maika! What you do is truly a labor of love, thank you Julie!
Hi Julie, so how many of each total. We are so anxiously awaiting Dux and Pala, so they will be the B litter since Maika went first? Do you expect them this weekend still? I am sure you are as exhausted as Maika. It will be the count down very soon. We can’t wait for our new bundle of joy!!
Tammie, Pala had her puppies 4 boys and 4 girls. I went 56 hours with no sleep. Just took a 4 hour nap. Had to get up to take of the dogs and now I am getting stuff ready to ship out Purple long coat girl. I will be up at 3 am to send her out.
I will bring everyone up to speed on Pala’s litter. The room where Pala was whelping her puppies was not set up to have my lap top nearby and free of bodily fluids so no on the spot news, sorry about that. I will catch up tomorrow.
Yeah, I think we can forgive you for not posting updates in real time after going over 2 days without sleep.
You did it though, Julie! 16 puppies in 56 hours! You should be so proud of yourself and your girls. I am!
Wow!! You are amazing!!
I don”t know how you do it. Probably for the love we know our dogs give us, and the joy they will be bring to so many people. Thank you so much Julie!! Can’t wait to see them….. But you rest now, you have totally earned every wink of sleep!!!!
Thank you so much for the video — I have never seen anything quite like it. The puppies really do look like worms! They are so cute when they get rolled over and the feet are just straight up and absolutely no help. I never knew they could make so much noise. The second video when they are all making their way to Momma was just amazing. Thanks, Julie.
Great. The second video caused Kayla to pack her bags. She heard the puppies crying and damn near climbed into the laptop. I told her it was OK—they were Maika’s babies .She said then Maika is not doing a good enough job if they are crying and she headed out the door for Michigan.
I asked her who will help me raise Fenris if she goes? She said, yeah—I can’t do it on my own so she agreed to stay….for now!
Thank you for posting the videos. I’m sure that you are so tired by now that you can’t remember your name!
Hope you have been able to get some sleep by now Julie. Also hope both Moms & litters are doing well.
They all looked so great, and Maika is a beautiful and proud momma!
