Stopped by Skydive DeLand yesterday. There were more advanced divers there than what I usually see.
Skydive DeLand is known to bring in divers from around the world. There was a team visiting from Russia.
This guy could double for Rocky The Flying Squirrel. His style of gear obviously kept him in the air longer than the others. When his arms were stretched out, he looked like he had flying squirrel wings.
This must be an Alta-Tollhaus Sparrow. It chirped to me and posed for pix. When I stopped taking pictures it flew away.

When I wanted to try skydiving my Dad told me “two things fall from the sky, bird shit and idiots.”
Your Dad was a very wise man. I like going here once in awhile because it is very colorful and good practice.

I’m a total coward, and would never do it, but I loved the pictures. It must have been thrilling to actually be there to watch!
