Now that I’m retired I don’t do this anymore but, remember how long the day at work would become if you watched the clock? Well Singer has found out that the more he watches the flock the longer he gets to do it. What a smart boy. He’s a real flock watcher.

Borrego is in the desert. It’s a couple of hours away. Usually the field is dirt and dead weeds. It is only green in the winter when it rains. It provides us time to let the flock out to graze and teach the dogs tending and working wide to keep it all together.
