Roman and his BFF, Nina, meet up in the mornings for mouse hunting in a field near our house. Roman is good at a lot of things, but mouse hunting isn’t tops on his list. It’s absolutely wet your pants hysterical. He actually springs into the air and pounces around. He’ll do it 5-6 times in a row. This huge 105lb shepherd bouncing around. By the time he and Nina get to the mouse hole, the mouse has scooted away in the other direction. Totally funny. Well, this morning, on one of his pounces, he landed on a mouse, squished the poor thing, swatted it with his huge paw and swallowed it whole. He was heaving like a python to swallow this thing. Sooo gross. Maybe I should stop with the raw food. It’s making him nuts. He had a big poop later in the day and I’m sure the mouse was part of it. He was so proud of himself. Now he’s obsessed with mouse hunting. On a scale of 1-10 for being a goof…he’s a 10+!!

Just treat him for tapeworms. I do all my dogs twice a year who knows what they eat when you are not looking. It’s the easiest treatment one dose and that is it. You can buy the medicine off label and save a lot of $$$
