Lynda, these photos are fabulous!
Thank you for thinking of it.
Thank you Carole and Julie. Ivan is a fun dog to work with.

And Ivan is the same lap puppy he was when he arrived–congratulations on keeping such a great balance between work and fun!

We are still trying to get 11 week old W-Dutch to accept our cat, with negligible progress. What is the secret of your success in achieving peace and harmony at home?
Beverly,
Owen, our orange cat, thinks that he is a dog, has no fear of dogs and will not hesitate to put a dog (especially a puppy) in its place. Our other cat, Lamont, is more wary of dogs but will not back down and is also more than happy to put a puppy in his place. Both our cats have their claws and both have batted Ivan on the nose (without claws out) several times. I agree with Julie that you need to let the cat put Dutch in his place now while Dutch is still small. You need to monitor Dutch very closely when he interacts with the cat and do not be afraid to correct him with a sharp “No” or “Leave It”.
Ivan never barked at the cats but was very curious about them. If he got too close they quickly told him that Cats Rule!

2 yrs ago, but doesn’t it seem like yesterday? You have done a wonderfful job with him, keep up the great work!

I am truly amazed at all of your great accomplishments in those two short years. You have my utmost admiration.
I agree with Carole, amazing how much you have done in two years.
I guess it would have been kind of hard to get Ivan to curl up into a ball between Jacks legs like he did two years ago. Super pictures!
Yep…I wanted to try to get Ivan in the same position for the picture but he’s grown a lot in 2 years!

Yes it does. The time has flown by that’s for sure.
