Here are some pictures of Lily and WTRanger bonding last Sunday.
Such focus! WTRanger knows who has the good treats!!
Yes, her eyes are closed. Those teeth are sharp and she is a little scared.
WTRanger finally taking a treat politely.
Lily working on recalls already!
WTRanger is going to have that gorgeous red coloring like his mother. Well, not that baby daddy isn’t black & red too. 😉 He may have needle teeth but he seems to be pretty gentle with Lily. They make such a cute pair!
That will be a bond that will last and last. He is very gentle with her, I love to see this, thanks for sharing.
Nothing better than the bond between kids and dogs. You have done your daughter a great service to have her learn what a dog is through a German Shepherd.
A little Beauty and a Handsome boy!
What a time they will have growing up together!:)
Like Lily, I grew up with GSD’s. My parents bought their 1st puppy, Duchess I, when my mother was pregnant with me, so I don’t have a memory that doesn’t include Duchess. I am so glad that Lily will have Ranger in her life during these important formative years. The bonds of love between them will be indescribable, a gift like no other. A child without a dog is denied life experiences that provide them a huge advantage in developing empathy, understanding, responsibility, and a true love for man’s best friend.
Kids and dogs- there’s nothing sweeter than that. 🙂
I love how plush and soft looking his coat is, if I could only grab him from my screen. Sigh. I miss that stage.
Lily, you are wonderificyouterrific! I like the picture when Lily has her eyes closed yet she is not flinching and is giving the treat with confidence. She has faith her puppy will learn! Good job Lily…and Mom too!
Lovely pictures of Lily and her pup. It’s so nice she is helping with the training.
