This one did not have an odor. However, I have not always been so fortunate in my choices in bully sticks. Kayla & Garbo enjoy the sticks while on road trips. There have been times when I’ve purchased the “other” type and have damn near died from the odor in a closed van. Hey—it sure helps keep the “carpooling” down to a minimum. 🙂
I have been told that the odorless sticks have the urethra removed. Now tell me who gets to perform THAT job?
LOL! Who makes the odorless ones? We’re on Red Barn, and they’re kinda stinky. Tolerable, but stinky. I would pay a little more for the ones that have been de-urethra’d.
I love this picture of Batty. He still loves the bullies.

Carole, how long is that thing??? Do you remember where you bought that one?
Batling is really a great looking dog – so regal in that pose, too. I love to see the training sessions you’ve been posting. It’s an inspiration to all!
What Karen said seems to make the most sense. The odor has to do with the drying process. I normally buy the sticks at my local feed dealer, which is probably why it is hit and miss on the odor.
Oh, you can also get a cane! Now that would be a great conversation piece. 🙂

Thanks for the help, Carole. I just ordered several 12″ (odorless) bully sticks and one med. antler for Dutch from the Bullystickshop. I’ve been shopping around, and their prices are the best I’ve seen.
