While it isn’t the greatest Santa photo, I am very proud of Sade and her new buddy Ina. We went to Bass Pro Shop yesterday and they not only enjoyed a visit with Santa but recieved many compliments on both their beauty and manners from shoppers. My social butterflies ate up the attention. While in line they remained very well behaved and enjoyed sharing kisses with kids of all ages. Sade was sitting very nicely for her photo until the “elf” decided to use a sweaky duck to get her focus. Poor Santa learned quickly how strong she can be! You can see in her face that she is ready to get that duck!
I love Rudolph and his cousin in the background!
Ahhh so cute. Obviously the elf does not know Sade…she doesn’t need no stinking squeaky duck!
That is a very authentic Santa.
Not only doesn’t he know her,he didn’t have a clue how close he was to not having a hand…all in all she showed incredible restraint!
Now THAT’S a Santa! Very nice picture.
Good Girl Sade…very proud of the way you handled the crazy squeaky duck stunt! Great photo!!!
A squeaky duck…oh my. It’s a good job Sade didn’t pull Santas hand off and slam into the elf to get the duck!
Oh that’s right Lynda has met Sade.
Believe me, they all like their squeaky toys.
You win the award for finding the BEST Santa!
Irene, who is Ina?
Presently, Ina is Sade’s new partner in crime. She is a gift from a friend and the story of how she came to be mine is a bit complicated. Raising two puppies is not necessarily a sane thing to do and it is definitely a full time job but then I have never been accused of being sane and we are enjoying them both. Presently, I am training both Sade and Ina in schutzhund. Once she matures, Ina will also be trained to be my husband’s service dog. This is a roll Janni fills now. Janni is nine and still very healthy and active. Our hope was that Shilo would step into this roll but that was not to be.
