I finally dug out my old underwater camera and bought film. It was hot today so Sade and I hit the beach. Tomorrow morning we are going to take Sammy and see what he thinks.

Took Sammy this morning. No pics. Have to buy more film. He did well. He walked right in with me. Of course there was that bit of panic when suddenly his feet were not touching the ground but he got over it. With the vest on, he barely stayed afloat, his feet going everywhere and I thought he didn’t get it. so I took the vest off and figured I would support him while he figure it out. Without the vest he figured out right away he’d better get those feet moving. All in all a great first time.
I have a digital camera but the underwater housing costs more than the camera. It is on my wish list but would be hard to justify since I don’t do that many dive trips anymore.

I never used to think of the North (and not on the coast) as being a place someone would have dive gear or underwater cameras. 🙂
awww How fun!!! I can’t wait for Sammy’s pics.

Film?? Seriously?? Irene! Get a digital—you’ll go broke taking pix of A-T dogs.
These are fun shots!

The Great Lakes offer some of the best wreck diving in the world if you can handle cold water diving.
Dh still has his Nikonos? He used to teach diving in the Bay Area.
I am jealous. The Bay area? Any chance he ever saw a great white shark? That is on my list of must dos before I die or maybe it will be the way I die…
Beautiful beach, it looks likes so much fun and great exercise!
She just has a ball. Sammy did good too. There really is something to that water gene.
Looks like a great time. They all do LOVE the water!
