When I first saw him, my heart stopped for a bit, this big boy looks very much like my old Zeus. Julie and Alan told me he is a big boy, I thought I KNOW a thing or two about big dogs, Zeus was oversized and weighed 67 lbs at 6 months old. However, Koda is only 5 months old, weighs 65 lbs! He is tall and very very sweet, him and Andrew are inseperable except for when he met Rascal-
I have a video of him playing the egge, it’s quite entertaining, I will upload once I feed my family dinner- lol. In the meantime, here’s some pics! There’s more pictures uploaded here. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v178/msjam/KODA/
Wow!! Usually Julie’s dogs hit the jackpot, but Koda hit it twice!! Once to be brought up by Alan and then to go to an amazing home with Josie 🙂 Koda looks like he’s at home already. I love the shot with Racal. It’s clear who runs the show.
You said it Rita!
OK…I know that this puppy left Massachusetts yesterday and flew to Michigan and today flew from Michigan to Texas. And never meet the Morris family before…I wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t know it was true. It is eerie how he has settled right in. Koda and Andrew are best puppies who would ever guess that Koda was not raised with Andrew. Alan, you did a great job raising Koda.
Thanks. I told you he was the best and destined for great things. He’ll just be doing them a little further west.
Koda is one lucky pup. First to be expertly raised by Alan and now to be raised by a kid and a cat! Koda’s personality and adaptability are a credit to you, Alan.
I am so happy for Koda and Andrew. When discussing temperasment and breeding the perfect GSD we will get so wrapped up in evaluating drives and strength that we forget that this is what it is all about. The GSD was meant to be an adaptable dog, first at nothing but second at all things. This is what breeding for temperament means. Koda and Sammy are proof.
Good job Alan and Julie. Your combined efforts have given Andrew the perfect dog.
Julie, could you book two flights from O’hare to Koda’s new home? Sammy and I really want to come for an extended visit. That pool and kid look awesome. Actually, just one will do, we can share the same crate. P.S. Don’t let our mom know.
Sade
Dear Sade,
I’m sure you and Sammy will fit in that uber sized crate I was in, we’ll have a ball here, my new kid is fantastic. ….. Koda.
love the video. He is going to be a fun dog to watch grow.
great video and your little boy looks so happy with Koda. I’m happy for all of you and hope Koda helps heal your heart. He looks like a super well adjusted puppy!
Isn’t love grand! Seeing Koda and his little boy together is picture perfect.
