Grizzly is so darn handsome! He reminds me of Roman at that age 🙂
Rita & Julie, please do not tell John that Grizzly looks like Roman. Roman is John’s favorite dog and hearing that there is a mere chance that Grizzly will turn out like Roman will just make his chest puff up even more than ever. PLEASE—I can’t stand the thought of it. 🙂
Does he just zoom along like that, or was he playing w/somewone else? Libby discovered a jolly ball I used to have for one of my horses this weekend and has been trying to carry it around, but it is as big as she is. It is fun to watch-she ended up dragging it over to us.
You would have to ask Carole since I wasnt there, but he does this thing maybe once or twice a week where he goes into what Michelle and I call “G-Swizzle” mode ( grizzly to griz to swizz to G-swizz to G-swizzle…yeah he has a lot of nicknames depending on his behavior)…he will all of a sudden transform into a race horse with a caffeine problem and just sprint around with no apparent destination—I am sure all of the puppies do this?? Its usually when he is overstimulated or tired.–my guess is this was a G-Swizzle moment.
Libby’s nicknames are “mini-shark” or the Lion since she lets out this little mini roar when she wakes up from napping-can’t wait for the baby teeth to fall out!!!
All of Grizzlys baby teeth have fallen out—he has his little mountain ranges coming in with swollen bleeding gums on the bottom —ice cubes are his new best friend
I wish I could carry my animals on my medical and dental from work!!!

About Grizzly’s Zooming: He was playing with me and teasing the kennel dogs. He only does that when I have my camera. Otherwise, he is very calm and will just go say hello to them. When he’s zooming, I tell him “careful” and he slows down.

I agree Rita. Great pix Carole!

oh no–here we go again
Carole’s place is like a YMCA sleep away camp for Grizz….
Yeah—unfortunately, there are no young men passing through…
He looks like he’s enjoying his egge! I love it!

Oh yeah, Odin does the same thing, I always cringe when he gets in that mood, I’m afraid he’ll hit a tree or something!
trees, furniture, me, sliding glass doors….I want to throw a football helmet on his head
It scares me too when Libby runs -she gets going so fast that she wipes out when she tries to turn.

That is exactly how how Zeus (my old gsd) broke his canine, he hit a pole, $580 to fix the canine.
