This weekend was a great weekend.
Maika got her breed survey out of the way. She did very well.
Kira achieved her Lifetime Breed Survey.
Anna did a great job in her conformation. Grandma Funny was able to go out and do a little herding training with sheep. You could tell right away that she remembered what this was all about! After all that is Funny’s forte.
Julie looked calm, confident, assertive and like she has done this 100 times. Way to go Ladies!
WOW! All that in one weekend? The human clearly did an excellent job and must be exhausted. Congratulations!
Congratulations, Julie. You’ve worked hard and deserve it.
So now my question to you, Karen, is why the hell is a photographer on here talking about a great weekend and not posting photos?!??
I had a 3 yr old and a 6 yr old with me of the 2 legged species! Besides Robin was there and took pictures, and notes, which I intent to hopefully get a copy of. I think Al got a couple of pictures. So I get a F for my grade this weekend. Sorry!
Congratulations to all! Sounds like a very wonderful and rewarding weekend. You deserve to savor every minute of it Julie!!! …and way to go Funny!
Sounds like you had a breeders dream weekend. Congratulations to you.
Wonderful news — Congrats!! Would love to see video of Funny working the sheep.
Neat! Congrats to all! Would have been cool to see Funny with the sheep!
Becky, her face lit up like it was almost glowing, she was actually smiling!
Congratulations to all on a great weekend.
How did the “K” pups and others do at the show Julie mentioned on a comment/post a while ago?
The K kids in attendance did well. Kapone was SG1 in the 12-18 month male group with Keeper (aka “Bakke”) as SG3 in his first show. Bakke also received a big compliment from Charlie Starr of Drache Feld (who took XBox to VA1) who saw me waiting with Bakke and asked if he could show him. Sister Kali did nicely as well — getting SG4 (I think) in her group. Positive critiques for all from the judge as well.
Julie was there camera in hand. Hopefully she’ll post pictures of the dogs and photoshop me out of them.
The K kids will hopefully all meet again the second weekend in June in Illinois when Chicago Schutzhund Verein hosts the midwest regional show.
@Stan K
Hi Stan,
Thanks for the update. Wow, what a great show you all had!!!
Congratulations to the “K” kids, owners and breeder.
Thanks Lynda, yes we all had a very successful day. Stan, I was very surprised when Josh Scutt and Charlie Starr showed up and showed the boys. What an awesome thing that is. Someone asked me, well what if you didn’t want them to show them for you? I said there is no reason why you wouldn’t want them to, that was a special treat for sure.
Congratulations to everyone!!!!
Thank you Karen…you forgot to mention how your kids did! That’s Ok I will brag about them shortly. 🙂
