Quinn has excellent temperament. She also has perfect confirmation thus far. I could not be any happier with the puppy. We have put her in as many situations as we possible can and she is always rock solid. This weekend we will be going to the herding farm for our first exposure to the sheep we can’t wait!
We traveled to Madison this past weekend to drop our two year old male CH RiverRock’s Heart of the Matter (Luke) off at the handler for training and conditioning for the AKC regional futurity show May 2. The handler is Kent Boyles. He also owns Kenlyn Kennels. They have a Schutzhund training field on the property and asked me to bring Quinn along to take a look at her, and hang out for the day. The trainer did do some rag work with Quinn as well as just let her hang out on the field all day while they trained all of their dogs. Quinn had a blast! She wanted to do bite work, but she could not jump high enough to reach the sleeve;) The trainers name was Rolando I did not get his last name.
she’s tracking already?! She looks great! I love reading updates on the Qlitter. 🙂
I would say that Quinn was very comfortable on the field.
Glad to hear she will be doing schutzhund. That is great.
Nice to get her out and about and used to the field. Cute pup!

What is the name of the club? Did they have you take Quinn to hang out, did they do any rag work?

Bummer it is not in MN. Cool you got to expose Quinn to some schutzhund training though.
