Prada (Sydney) and Quantas (Grizzly) started puppy class on Saturday, along with a Golden-Doodle pup. Although, I’m not quite certain about the “golden” part.
The P & Q were at times little monsters with each other, but both were very gentle with the doodle. Perhaps they thought he was a little lamb?
“Come on, little cousin, sit close to me.” “I am NOT her squeaky toy!”
“Who me? I’m just having a little fun with The Kid!”
Syndey and Grizzly are great little pups. They both have that “let me at it—I can do it” attitude.
Very, very cute. Is Carole starting an A-T south????? Love the look on Sydney’s face in the pics. She looks like the pesky older sister tormenting her younger brother.
Sydney can be full of herself. Reminds me of big sister Kayla at that age.
Those two remind me of Sabree and DeNiro. After class one night, when all the other pups had left, we allowed them to play ‘rough and tumble’ together. Sabree was more ‘rough’ and DeNiro more ‘tumble’! Do you remember Karen/Al?
Great shots Carole – you had me cracking up at your comment when I saw the ‘golden’ doodle!!!!
We sure do!
I wish we seen each other more now. Rather than having to meet up in VA when we live only about 100 miles from each other.
Sydney definitely had the upper hand but they got along great together – I think they remembered each other from Julies.
Too cool! Odin is uber jealous, are there any A-T puppy around Dallas? Sydney has gotten so big! Keep the pics coming, I love reading updates.
Carole., these photos and captions are great, you had to be reading their minds! Lisa was right on:)
I predict that all too soon those two will be walking politely, side-by-side to get their diplomas … (ok, maybe pinching each other on the way, but only so Auntie Carole won’t notice…NOT a chance:)
Would have to agree that the pups remembered each other. It’s going to be so much fun watching them grow and learn. Grizzly is a stud…yes, even cuter in person and soooo smart. I think John and I were both a little more than surprised to see how much growth goes on between 11 and 14 weeks.
It is very cool to be able to working with the extended A-T family.
Carole, your always beautiful photos perfectly capture the bliss of the first day of puppy class. Gorgeous smiles and absolutely charming puppies!
The two brats, eh, A-T pups really did act like Big Sis and Little Bro, yet both were very gentle and polite to the the little doodle, who is 4 days older than Grizzly. I swear, they thought he was a lamb.
I have a feeling Carole will whip them into shape in no time — She was like a teacher breaking up a playground fight…in a year when they are full grown she will be more like a ref in a heavyweight prize fight.
I love the title of the post, very clever.
“She was like a teacher breaking up a playground fight…”
John, you were referring to you & Barb, right?
Yes, I will have the two of YOU whipped into shape in no time. Ask Al, he’ll tell you. 😉
LOL — yes, I stand corrected!
Great post Carole. How fun to have two AT pups in one class!
