Julie -I had such a wonderful time at NASS last year, I will definitely be going again this year to cheer on the Alta Tollhaus Family. I just checked on the webiste and found that it is going to be held at the same place as last year, so will be within driving distance for Matt to join me, along with our “hairy kids”. That brings me to the question of whether Kora and DeNiro will be allowed at the venue as they would not be competing. Of course I would be courteous of the competitors and leave them in their crates in the vehicle. Do you know if none competing dogs are allowed to stay at the host hotel?
Carole – will you be involved in organising prizes and goody bags again this year? If so, let know so I can make sure I’m better organised for you this year and can start putting aside “goodies” for your bags.
How exciting that you and Matt plan on going to NASS Andrea! We are thinking of going again to be part of the Alta-Tollhaus family too.
Julie….you definitely need to have a “Kennel Group”….and Alta-Tollhaus clothing…LOL!!!! (Yes…I’m still bugging you!)
That’s GREAT, it will be awesome to catch up with you face to face. I constantly show Matt your comments and photographs from the Blog and can’t wait for him to meet you and Jack and of course Ivan. Will you be taking Dylan?
Julie, I’m with Lynda – we definitely need Alta Tollhaus gear! You couldn’t find a more proud group to wear your name!!!!
I know what colors I want…but that is all the farther i get with it becasue I can’t find warm-up outfits with those colors.
Andrea were you a fly on the wall at Julies today? We just discussed this, this afternoon! LOLOLOL
Andrea we had Sabree with us last yr. and the host hotel which was the Hyatt last yr, never said anything. But we did pay a pet fee if I remember correctly.
Kennel Group!!!! Alta Tollhaus Clothing! OH yea, I think it’s time!
What a coincidence!!! If I were at Julie’s as regularly as you guys, I’d be even more inclined to be taking a puppy from every other litter!!!
That’s good news about the host hotel. I would expect to pay a pet fee of course. I just wanted to make sure that none competing dogs were allowed to stay at the hotel otherwise I’d look for alternative arrangements.
Hopefully we will get to see Kapone in action before October!
YEAH ANDREA!!! No problem bringing your kids. This will be fun!
Great – I can’t wait!
I can’t wait until NASS! It was such a fun, and nice atmosphere. The people are so nice, and I can’t thank Julie enough for asking me to go!
Me too! You’re right, the people were so nice – even though I was not competing and didn’t really know the show ring etiquette, I felt quite at home. I am sure it was Julie’s pleasure to take you 🙂
Hello Andrea! It is fantastic news that you’ll be coming to NASS. The only requirement is that you must spend more than 2 minutes with me this year! I’m sorry we didn’t have time to visit last year.
The Hyatt will be our official host hotel again. I’ll let you know when it is time to book rooms under our rate. There will be a $50 one-time fee for dogs in rooms. Your dogs are welcome.
We pretty much have the same team (and duties) as last year. Andrea, if you are willing to donate goodies again, that would be fantastic. Cindy will be thrilled! You’re goodies were the hit of the goody bags.
Lynda & Jack, you had better be planning to attend!
I promise we’ll spend more time together this year. Last year you seemed so busy taking the photographs, I didn’t want to disturb you. This year I will be there for more than one day, so we’ll have more time to chat.
Please keep me in the loop with the details and when it is time to book the room.
I will start putting away suitable samples as I get them, so that by the time you need them, there should more than enough for the goodie bags.
