It seems mommy left daddy’s cell phone where Lily could grab it and this is a picture of the damage and Lily afterward. So now its “Bad, Bad mommy and now she has to sleep in the dog house!”
Kayla says that you must have a very destructive cat, because HER daughter would NEVER do that. At least you share living in the dog house!

Pam, I can’t help but laugh…sorry..It wasn’t at all funny when Roman chewed my Blackberry and my new glasses. She looks so sweet. I’m sure it was the cat.

Wow! I thought it was bad when Millie stole a hamburger off the counter last night!
Hi Everyone! I’m the bad bad mommy. You know, it is so comforting to know I am not alone. Your comments on the little indiscretions your dogs commit make me feel so much better. Many times on the blog we only see or hear about the GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENTS our babies have made. I think we need to share these indiscretions so when new owners get their new dogs, they don’t feel so bad when something happens to them.
By the way, the cell phone doesn’t ring anymore…but Lily does and, if we don’t “answer” her…she barks. Pretty neat trick don’t you think?
Someone told me I should buy Lily her own cell phone…I’m not going to do it until she turns 16. Sorry…that is a house rule.
Hi, Pam–I absolutely agree with you on posting our dogs’ indiscretions, as well as their accomplishments. Being vulnerable reminds us that none of us is the perfect dog parent, parent, or person, and gives people courage to connect with each other.

I live in the bad Mommy position also. I left my glasses where Gryph could get them and he did.

Oh Pam, I can’t quit laughing, about her ringing. I love your humor!
I think these posts , good and bad, show people what they can expect from puppy hood.
I don’t care how careful you are, something is going to happen sooner or later! These doogs are way to smart to let an opportunity go by with out taking full advantage.
Sabree still does things once in awhile, but I don’t even have to catch her doing it, she gives herself away with this certain look every time! Enjoy the little things in life, stop and take a minute just to watch and see the wheels in their heads spinning. What will they come up with and try next?

Pam, I love your sense of humor. It is a good thing to have when raising pups!
A couple years ago, I went to Germany and left my brother in charge of Kayla. I had asked Julie to check on things before she left for Germany. Julie’s report made it to the blog because Kayla had entertained herself by digging up a water line.
Karen said it best—stuff happens when you have smart dogs!
